My child typically rides the bus home. Can he or she drop into the Extended Hours Program?
Yes, children enrolled in transportation may opt to use the Extended Hours Program. If you intend for your child to stay, please e-mail  the transportation manager as soon as possible.

Will my child be able to finish his or her homework during the Extended Hours Program?
Children will be given every opportunity available to work on homework independently in the afternoon. Students in grades 1-4 will be given a Study Hall period after school from 3:15-4:00. Middle School students will be given a Study Hall Period from 3:30-4:30 with a Middle School teacher. At 4:30 an additional room will be provided for all students wishing to continue working on their homework independently.

Is tutoring covered in Extended Hours?
No, tutoring is not part of the Extended Hours Program. Tutors are available through the school at an additional cost. For more information, please contact Suzanne Burns.

I am unexpectedly delayed by traffic and will be 15-30 minutes late picking up my child at the end of the school day. Will I be charged the $35 drop-in fee?
In the event of severe traffic, please notify the school as soon as possible. All charges will be at the discretion of the Extended Hours Supervisor and the Business Office.

Do I always have to go into the school to pick up my child from Extended Hours?
ECP students must be picked up inside the Early Childhood building.  For Lower and Middle School students, weather and time of day will determine indoor or outdoor pick up.  During inclement weather and/or darkness, pick up will happen indoors so as to ensure the safety of our students and staff.  When daylight and weather permit, there will be a staff member between the crosswalk of the Lower & Middle Schools building and Camp Office to sign out your child while you wait comfortably in your car.  A sign in front of the Lower & Middle Schools buildings will inform you of daily pick up plans.

Is there a late fee for picking up after 6 pm?
Yes, the fee is $25 every 15 minutes, or a fraction thereof, until 6:30. After 6:30, the fee is $50 for every 15 minutes or a fraction thereof. Please notify the Extended Hours Supervisor as soon as possible if you know you are running late so we can help to reassure your child.
